Great local park with 2 cricket fields, 6 nets for cricket, a full running track and a large soccer field. The actual park also has many small playgrounds and parking is on the lower side although more parking spots can be found near the park at the local schools. The park itself is a great place to play many different sports and is very popular on weekends, especially on Saturday mornings. The park is usually less crowded and better to play on weekday evenings. Overall a great park.

There are 2 compact size playgrounds available, walkable trails, good view by the lake with soccer files, few amount of parking.

Nice park. Great views of the lake but I need to come back when the trails are dry (too muddy for us to do the entire trial).

We had a picnic organized for the hiking group. It was very nice to get the two pavilions. There was space for the kids to play as well.

Good park and there are trails, but there are not a lot of parking. It's a long walk to the playground and soccer field if you don't drop off.

I walk with my dog at least twice a week. Walk around the playground with a small walkway behind the entrance near the parking lot and the inside walkway. The park is well maintained so that you can't see it, and the promenade near the entrance is a cozy and quiet path that I love. The regrettable thing here is that the floor is too hard after rain and the shoes become messy.

Shakerag park is perfect for Athlets and provides access to courts like Tennis , Base ball-and heaven for soccer and cricket lovers. It has good soccer setup along with a good track for for walking, jogging and running. Also very good youth cricket grounds for cricket matches. The 6 cricket cages provided for cricket practice are excellent. I really recommend this place for Athlets and general public.

It's fun to head out to Shakerag park in the summer evenings. They have a 400m track that is nice to walk on, while enjoying games of soccer and cricket that typically are happening at the same time in the fields. The main park has 4 batting cages for cricket net practice. There are two children's play areas - one next to the parking and one near the track. The restrooms are nice and clean. Next to the parking area are also some picnic tables and barbeque pits and a small lake where people can often be seen fishing. The park facilities are shared with Rivertrail Middle school where you can find 4 tennis courts, a baseball field and a basketball court. These are open to the public outside of school hours. There is also a wooded walking trail that can be accessed from the far right end of the cricket field, but it is very uneven with lots of tree roots embedded in the paths. Also lot of cobwebs that you might walk into so, be aware. Overall a nice place.
